Upscale 1BR in the heart of downtown
Upscale 1BR in the heart of downtown
Description
My place is close to all that downtown Burlington has to offer, including: restaurants, waterfront (2 blocks), bike path, Church Street Marketplace (3 blocks) and events. You’ll love the place because of the phenomenal location. I have one of few stand-alone residential houses in downtown. If you stay here, you'll enjoy all of the amenities of the heart of downtown Burlington from the comfort of a cozy, well appointed, detached home with off-street parking. The space Relax on a supportive queen size bed, made with 400+ thread count cotton sheets. Amenities include, 32" flatscreen internet TV (for Netflix & Hulu viewing), Keurig on-demand Coffee maker (in-room), iron and board, dresser and closet. Enjoy convenience and privacy with your own private, attached half bathroom. Luxuriate in our shared, spa quality full bathroom equipped with a 6 foot soaker tub, double standing shower (with 18 different nozzles) and double sinks. Feel free to use the rest of the house, including our high end kitchen, cozy living room and bright dining room. Generous central heat in the winter, and air conditioning (An unusual amenity in Vermont) in the summer. Guest access Your bedroom and half bathroom (both upstairs) is private, but the rest the house is shared use, including full bathroom (which is downstairs) with shower, tub, bidet and double vanity, kitchen, dining room and living room. My bedroom and the basement are not for guest use. During your stay You will have your your door code, so you can come and go as you please - including self-checkin. It's a cozy house, so we will probably cross paths often. I'm sociable and always eager to make recommendations or offer guidance on exploring Burlington. You'll also get to meet my sweet little poodle, Cole. He's usually my little shadow always by my side, but he loves love, so if you like dogs, he'll like you. Sometimes I'm out of town for work, and you might just find yourself with the house to yourself. Other things to note This is generally a shoe-free household, so I ask that you remove your shoes at the door. Also, I have a tiny mini poodle, who is hypo-allergenic and very sweet. If I'm home he'll greet you enthusiastically at the door, and if I'm not, he'll keep an eye out for me on the sofa. He's VERY happy to cuddle if you let him. He's a sweet little rescue who loves humans, but for whatever reason he's uncomfortable in the presence of other dogs, so I can not accommodate other pets (much to my dismay). Although everything in the house has been rebuilt from the inside out, the inside stairs still retain the steep character of a house built in the mid 1800s, and may be challenging for some. This house is not suitable for infants and children.
