The Obi residence was used as a nagaya gate for middle-class samurai during the Edo period, and is equipped with a sunken hearth, earthen floor, and okudo-san (cooking stove) that retain the atmosphere of those days. The space Upon entering the inn, guests are first greeted by a high-ceilinged room with high floors and a traditional sunken hearth. In the earthen floor, modern kitchen facilities coexist with a traditional Japanese kamado called "okudo-san". The spacious living room and tatami room lead to the backyard where the mansion once stood, and where a well has been dug. The baths are made of Koya-maki (Japanese cypress), which is said to be more luxurious than hinoki baths, and the kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils and utensils that can be used freely. ●2 Bedroom Two single beds 4 floor mattresses Other things to note ●Cleaning In the case of consecutive nights, rooms will be cleaned every second day, starting with the third day of stay in principle. ●Accommodation for infants: Up to 2 infants under 6 years old (if they do not require bedding or sleep with a parent) will be admitted free of charge. ●Meals Dinner is not provided. ●Smoking is not permitted on the premises of the inn, which is a wooden structure. ●Pets Pets are not allowed in this inn.
