Description
I've achieved 40 consecutive Superhost statuses, representing over a decade of hosting experience. I'm also one of the first to earn the coveted "GUEST FAVORITE" You will enjoy a SPACIOUS 1200 square feet of downstairs area. I stand as one of the rare AirBnB hosts in PDX with full short-term rental permits, having successfully passed a city inspection and covered all necessary fees for short-term renting. The space Feel right at home - in fact, you may never want to leave! The downstairs suite was meticulously designed with all the amenities a traveler could ask for. You'll have a generously sized private bedroom, along with a private bathroom and a separate living room with a kitchenette. The downstairs suite offers close to 1200 SQUARE FEET of living space - plenty of room to spread out! In your downstairs BEDROOM, you'll find the most comfortable queen bed you've ever experienced! Take advantage of the bed's remote control for adjusting your feet or propping yourself up to read. It also features a delightful massage function. If you tend to get chilly at night, the bed is equipped with a heated mattress pad. You can warm up your side while your partner's side remains cool. Additionally, your bedroom comes with a personal fan, a wall heater, and a portable heater. The BATHROOM includes a sink, toilet, and a convenient step-in shower. You'll also find a complimentary set of basic toiletries, plush towels, and a hair dryer for your use. In your KITCHENETTE, you'll have your own microwave, coffee maker, French press, toaster oven, induction cooktop, electric burner, and mini-fridge to store leftovers and keep your beverages cold. Whether you're in the mood to whip up a culinary masterpiece or savor some delicious take-out, the choice is yours! If you find doing laundry to be a calming activity, make the most of the in-unit washer and dryer. There's nothing like returning home with a suitcase full of freshly cleaned clothes! After a busy day of exploring (or perhaps a tiring craft beer tour!), unwind on the two incredibly plush couches and catch up on some TV. The LIVING ROOM area boasts a large 42" 1080p Fire TV with surround sound entertainment. You'll also have access to both a large and a small heater for added comfort. For taller guests, please note that the ceilings in the downstairs suite are typically 7 feet high, except in the main TV room where they measure 6 feet 5 inches. The GARAGE/workshop is an impressive 1200 SQUARE FEET and can accommodate your bicycles. You're welcome to park your vehicle in the garage as well - a significant advantage in the Portland area, eliminating the need to leave your vehicle on the busy streets. As your host, I'm a high school Physical Education & Health teacher, and I've got a collection of hilarious stories that are sure to make you laugh. There's nothing quite like working with teenagers! Due to my job, I'm up bright and early around 5 am, and I'm out the door by 6:30 am for work. On weekends, you'll find me up and about by 5 am, heading out for a full day of hiking around 7:30 am. I'm usually around in the evenings. I'm proudly LGBTQIA2S+ friendly, and I'm excited to share this roomy, inviting home with you and your partner. Guest access After entering through the back door, make your way downstairs to the area that belongs entirely to you. During your stay I hardly ever venture downstairs when I have guests. The space is exclusively yours, and I highly value your privacy. While I enjoy meeting my guests at the start of their stay, there's no need for ongoing interaction during your time here. Feel free to come and go as you wish! If you require anything, don't hesitate to come upstairs and ask, or simply send a text or give me a call. Other things to note To ensure your stay is truly unforgettable and leaves you eager to return, please note that it takes at least 24 hours to process your personalized code for the backdoor lock.
