The Laurel Creek House is a newly remodeled 1890's home with old home charm and a deck with the best scenic view in town. We are conveniently located and within walking distance of all stores and restaurants. Our outdoor kitchen is great for an early morning cup of coffee or an enjoyable lunch or dinner. You can walk to the river for a little fishing, a swim or take a short bike ride to the Allegheny Passage bike trail or just relax on the deck and watch the occasional eagle fly over. The space The Laurel Creek House at the Turkeyfoot Inn is perfect for a family or a few couples who love the outdoors or just relaxing on the deck. The view from the Laurel Creek House is the best in town as it encompasses the view of all three rivers coming together. The house sleeps 6 very comfortably with four bedrooms, a livingroom, dining room, full kitchen and two and a half baths. It also includes an outdoor kitchen area. We pride ourselves in providing cleanliness and privacy for our guests. For me, vacation is all about a beautiful view and a convenient location. I want to be able to park my car and enjoy the beauty of nature. If you choose to park your car for a few days then this is your spot. You can do just about anything by bicycle or by walking. There are many rentals but none with the view and convenient location of the Laurel Creek House at the Inn. Whether you enjoy biking, kayaking, fishing, hiking or just relaxing on the deck this Inn has it covered. We do have additional apartments on the same property for bicyclists looking to stay all on one property. The Wisteria, the Riverview and the Sunset. Guest access We provide a firepit for evening bonfires and a volleyball net and badminton rackets for afternoon games.. There are three gas grills for use on the property. There is a relaxing hammock area with some Bob Marley vibe, and the deck is great for night time star gazing. People are amazed by the view from our beautiful deck.. You are only steps away from some of the best fishing and kayaking in the state. We provide plenty of storage for your bikes and kayaks. There is a washer and dryer in the bike storage area.. Whether you just want to relax, or enjoy all the outdoor activities in the area, we are in the perfect location. You can park your car and just go by foot, bicycle, raft or kayak. We do have plenty of free parking. Other things to note We are close to the train but so is everybody else in this area, if it wasn't for the trains it wouldn't be a trail town, so you will hear some train noise at times, but most of the time its very peaceful and very quiet.. If you happen to hear a loud siren, don't panic it's the local fire company and they do go out for everything from fires to car accidents. We do have a nice little grocery store in town where you can get just about anything you need. People ask about bike and kayak rentals, we do have a bike shop in town and a rafting outfitter where you can take a guided tour or rent your own equipment.
