Visit the Wismar Zoo, the Mumpitz indoor playground, stroll through the city or relax on beach walks – the location of the apartment offers you a variety of recreational opportunities. For those who like to go out, the center of Wismar, the state capital Schwerin and the Hanseatic city of Rostock offer a variety of leisure activities with numerous restaurants, cafés, shopping opportunities and cinemas. Detailed description of the apartment: Enjoy the comfort of your lovingly furnished holiday apartment on the ground floor. The apartment is equipped with cable TV, an open kitchen with ceramic hob and oven, fridge, coffee machine and toaster as well as a shower room with washing machine. No hairdryer. Additionally we offer you the following additional equipment: a dishwasher, microwave, stereo and DVD player (a few DVDs are available). A carport space is available to you as well as a carport storage room where you can park your bicycles if necessary. The decor of the apartment is modern and high-quality and offers a very pleasant living comfort. The dining area impresses with its leather bench and the view of Wismar Bay. The bedroom is equipped with a double bed (1.80 * 2.00 m). Large window areas let a lot of light into the rooms. In order to enjoy cozy summer days undisturbed and with a pleasant indoor climate, all rooms are equipped with insect protection, the bedroom additionally with an external venetian blind. On the terrace, which is accessible from the living room, you can enjoy the view of the Wismar Bay. The covered terrace is equipped with 2 chairs, 2 lounge chairs and two tables made of weatherproof polyrattan. A small, private lawn completes the picture. Wismar in a nutshell Although Wismar with its approx. 43,000 inhabitants, it has a lot to offer. Especially the Swedish rule over Wismar has left its mark. On every corner you will find beautiful brick Gothic houses. Year after year, more and more of them are being restored and thus beautify the cityscape. In the city center and at the harbor there are numerous destinations worth seeing: The three Gothic main churches St. George, St. Nicholas and the Church of St. Mary. The 100 x 100 meter cobblestone marketplace. On it is a landmark of the city, the Wismar Water Art from 1602 in the Renaissance style. Behind the town hall at Rudolph-Karstadt-Platz in the pedestrian zone is the parent company of the department store group Karstadt. Rudolph Karstadt opened his first cloth shop here in 1881. The historic old harbor has a water gate (the last preserved city gate), a vault (a slanted two-story timber-framed building), a replica of the Poeler Kogge and the colorful hustle and bustle of the fishing cutters in the harbor basin. Both in the city center and in the harbor area, a variety of cafes and restaurants invite you to linger. Of course, there is also a cinema, zoo, bowling center, city theater, sports parks, leisure pool, go-kart track, as well as the possibility of vintage sailing and deep sea fishing in Wismar. Wismar also has a lot to offer culturally: The Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival is held every year, the Campus Open Air is as popular as the St. Georgen concerts.
