Our facilities (kitchen, TV, lounge area, WiFi, bath) are your facilities for your stay. As this is our home our only expectation is that as guests you treat everything with the same respect as if it was your own home. We would expect that guests after eating and drinking either clean up or place dishes in our dishwasher as we do. During your stay We are happy to interact with guests as much or not as desired. We respect privacy and the wishes of our guests. That being said, if a guest wishes to spend time with us that is all cool. We have been lucky to welcome guests from across the world in our first year of hosting - Austria, Iran, Armenia, Brazil, Germany, Canada, Australia, France, New Zealand, Turkey, Lebanon, Vietnam, Russia and the USA (California, Maine, Massachusetts, Wisconsin, New York). We enjoy meeting people of all walks of life and backgrounds. Other things to note We love travel, great food, nature and the occasional glass of red and love to receive couples, singles, tourists and business people. We both have quite serious jobs Monday to Friday but we work to live, not live to work. Between us we speak French, English and Spanish to native proficiency and a little Portuguese, German and Polish at a push :) Our days of partying till 2am are over so if you are coming to Montreal to party we would recommend staying much closer to the action near St Denis, St Catherine or Crescent streets. We do enjoy a good laugh and drink and in the good old days we both traveled/hosted and surfed sofas in Europe. Parking is available on-street and is free but it is also first come, first served. Usually though guests have no problems parking their cars.
