The space If you are looking for a tranquil place of relaxation with family and friends, then this is the place for you! We have zero tolerance for excessive noise, undisclosed guests, and parties; we respect our neighbors and our peaceful neighborhood. Please ensure our space is suitable for your needs before booking. This is our family home and has been comfortably furnished to be our cozy ATX escape. It is nestled in the safe, quiet neighborhood of Bancroft Woods / McNeil just 4 miles from the restaurants, bars, and Rockrose nightlife found in The Domain, 15 miles from Downtown Austin, and 20 miles from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. You'll have access to the whole house and modern comforts like a smart lock that makes self-check-in a breeze, a Nest thermostat, and speedy Google Fiber Wi-Fi. ROOMS Bedroom 1 (en-suite bathroom) - 1 King Bed (Sleeps 2) Bedroom 2 - 1 Queen Bed (Sleeps 2) Bedroom 3 - 1 Queen Bed (Sleeps 2) PATIO The patio in the backyard offers another intimate gathering space. Enjoy a cup of coffee as you admire the extensive shading provided by trees found in the yard, or fire up the charcoal grill for some homemade Texas BBQ. The dining table on the patio seats 6. KITCHEN Cook something delightful in the fully-stocked kitchen. It has a gas stove, microwave, toaster, and dishwasher, all tied together with marble countertops. A coffeemaker is always available in the kitchen (we have a drip coffeemaker). LIVING ROOM Spacious living area, WiFi, 65” 4k Smart HDTV with apps like Hulu and Netflix (we do not have cable or satellite), and comfortable sectional and chaise. DINING AREAS The primary dining area seats 6 and is adjacent to the kitchen. A smaller, secondary dining table right next to the kitchen island seats 4. LAUNDRY There is a washer and dryer for you to use just off the kitchen. PARKING Plenty of street parking, and two driveway spots are available. Please note that there is no garage access. GROCERY SHOPPING We are less than half a mile from an HEB grocery store. You'll have plenty of space for storage in the kitchen cupboards and fridge. It’s the ultimate gadget for flexibility. We’ll simply tell you your personalized code for your stay and you can let yourself in and out as you please. You will receive detailed check-in instructions 48 hours before your arrival. Other things to note FAQs Q: Do you offer discounts? A: Yes! We offer weekly and monthly discounts for longer stays. Q: Why are prices different depending on which days I select? A: We use automated pricing software that sets prices based on demand and comparable properties. Daily rates change based on a variety of factors and we typically just let the software do its thing! Q: Can I bring my pet? A: Yes, we accept pets. There is an associated fee to account for deep cleaning after your stay, so be sure to add your pet to the reservation when booking for accurate pricing. Q: Can I have an early check-in or late check-out? A: We do our best to accommodate these requests whenever possible! We usually cannot commit to an answer until approximately a week in advance of your reservation, so send us your request as your reservation approaches and we'll see what we can do for you. Q: Do we have to do chores at check-out? A: Upon check-out, we ask that guests do their dishes and take out the trash so there isn't anything that attracts unwanted critters between your departure and our cleaning crew's arrival. Thank you for your understanding and support! Q: What is the parking situation? A: Two spots are available in the driveway and there is plenty of street parking is available. We never have trouble finding parking. The garage is not available for guest use. PERMITTING & TAXES This rental follows local/state tax rules. Each reservation includes applicable taxes and cleaning fees. We have professional cleaners come in and turn over the listing before each reservation; if something doesn't seem right, please let us know! You are our eyes and ears; the cleanliness of our property and our guests' experience are of utmost importance to us. AUSTIN SHORT-TERM RENTAL LAWS This property complies with the City of Austin's short-term rental ordinance with no exceptions: 1) Outdoor spaces are not available for use from 10 PM to 7 AM (in other words, don't be loud late at night and disrupt the neighborhood) 2) Parties and events are not permitted Please reach out to us with any questions you might have.
