No exceptions.* Located in Upper Ojai just 10 minutes from the heart of downtown, our magnificent mountain home has a breathtaking view of the Topa Topa mountains. Our spacious two story home has glass French doors leading to massive decks - both front and back - great for outdoor dining, reading, bird watching, or rocking. On the back porch is a hot tub that seats 5 adults, perfect for star gazing and a glass of wine. The back yard is grassed and perfect for a game of football or soccer. There is a horse shoe pit available as well. The game room has a billiard table and dart board. Up the open wooden staircase is a library with reading area overlooking the Los Padres Mountain range. It also houses 4 bedrooms and 2 baths upstairs. *There is currently no ground floor restroom. The master suite has a comfortable King sized bed and a twin bed great for young kids. The suite also has a jetted tub and separate standing shower. In the 4 bedrooms upstairs: -bedroom 1 has a queen -bedroom 2 has 2 full size beds -bedroom 3 has a king bed and a twin bed. -the master suite has a king bed, a twin bed and two Add’l twin beds in walk in. Sleeps up to 12. Our spacious 3,500 square foot home in its serene setting is ideal for family vacations, small reunions, retreats, anniversary excursions, business meetings or small conferences, and brainstorming retreats. Dining table inside that seats 8 but can seat up to 12 with addl. chairs. Outside patio table that seats 6. The large rock fireplace in the Great Room creates warm community and conversation. Guest access Free on site parking. Guests have full access to a furnished kitchen, living room, dining room, game room. We have a pool table, a dart board, a rock fireplace in the Great Room, plus washer and dryer that guests are welcome to use. I do keep basic kitchen staples that you are welcome to-sugar, flour, spices, coffee, etc. I also supply basic cooking supplies and all dishes. There is a small country market in upper Ojai that has pantry basics, alcohol and firewood. The larger grocery stores are 10 minutes away in town. Wifi 42 inch TV with Direct TV, Netflix, and a DVD player. Many DVDs on property are kids movies Board and card games-perfect for family night with a fire in the fireplace! Yoga and exercise mats, yoga blocks and straps. Beach towels are provided to take for the day-perfect for the beach! *We currently do not allow weddings or large events/gatherings* *Any amount over 6 is an additional $50 per person per night. Maximum number of guests allowed is 12. *We require a 3 night minimum booking for holiday weekends or stays that include holidays. Other things to note Upper Ojai is rural, quiet, serene and rustic. You will experience the beauty of nature around you, as well as some of its dangers. The coyotes will howl, the hawks will circle above and on a rare occasion you may see a bobcat, mountain lion, bear, or snake. Be wise. Be safe.
