Sunny & Airy 2 BD/2 BA furnished Balboa Island cottage, A/C, fireplace, hardwood floors, open-beam ceilings, well-stocked kitchen, dishwasher. Front fenced-in patio & interior private courtyard w/Weber gas BBQ. Flat-screen TV w/cable, WiFi. GREAT LOCATION, quick walk to beaches, one block to Marine Ave shopping, restaurants. Washer/dryer in garage (shared). Dog friendly (Pet Fee). The space One-story, fully-furnished 1955 Balboa Island beach cottage with all-important GARAGE PARKING. Bright & airy feel, A/C, open-beam ceilings, gas fireplace, wooden shutters and hardwood floors throughout, skylights, and kitchen with granite counter tops and dishwasher. Two bedrooms (1 queen, 2 twin beds) and two bathrooms, ideal for a family with two kids or two couples. (Living room couch is NOT a sofa bed.) Washer/dryer in attached garage. White picket fence encloses front brick patio with outdoor tables and bistro set surrounded by roses and flowerbeds. French doors open off the dining area to a smaller outside seating area with a Weber gas BBQ that is perfect for small casual dinners. Linens and towels included in the cleaning fee. STEPS: While the house is one-story, there are a few steps: 3” step-down in front entry; 3” step-up into the living room; 8” step down into the master bedroom; two steps (6” & 7-1/2”) from attached garage to the courtyard; two 6” steps from courtyard patio to back entrance of cottage at French doors. NOTE: If you would like to bring a dog, you must ask me in advance to Approve breed and size (insurance requirement). There is a $200 Pet Fee for ONE Approved dog. Like most Balboa Island homes, there is no lawn or grass on the property. The flower planters and courtyard garden are not for dog waste. Please bring whatever dog bed you use. Thank you. Sorry, no cats. STAYS OF LESS THAN 30 CONSECUTIVE DAYS require I collect 10% City of Newport Beach Uniform Transient Occupancy Tax (Lodging and Accommodation Tax will be included in Quote). Balboa Island is just off the coast of Newport Beach and is a short drive away from many Southern California attractions, including Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Universal Studios, Hollywood, San Diego Zoo, and much, much more. Only 15 minutes away from Santa Ana/Orange County airport, and 50 minutes south of Los Angeles International Airport. Guest access It's the whole house, a 1955 Balboa Island 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom cottage with front patio, private inside courtyard with gas BBQ and attached garage with shared washer/dryer. (Please note: there is one back unit above the garage that has a separate entrance and long-term lease tenants). Other things to note The house is just a 1-2 minute walk to the island's beaches and Newport Harbor and 5-6 minute walk to the ferry to the Balboa Peninsula.
