This is an twelve bedroom home on five acres. It was built to be a multi-generational home with separate spaces for young families and large communal rooms for everyone to gather together. It's a great place for retreats or family reunions! There are 3 full kitchens, 4 full baths, 1 half bath, 4 living rooms. The setting is rural, surrounded by trees, horse pastures, barn. There is highway noise when you are outside. It's in the country but close to all that KC has to offer. The space The entire home and 5 acre property. This is a five level home, the middle floor has the main entrance. The main floor has a fully stocked, large eat in kitchen with double oven, range top, microwave, dishwasher and a coffee bar. There is a half bath. The large dining room is adjacent to a large front room with dinning tables. Together these two rooms seat 30 plus at tables. The spacious living room has a large high definition tv and fireplace. There is comfortable seating for 20 with room for additional chairs. This floor makes a great common area, gathering place for large groups. Lots of seating and space. There is a large deck off the kitchen with more seating and large table. 7 steps up from the main floor on the master level, there are 4 bedrooms . The Bunkroom has a Queen bed , a bunkbed and a twin. It’s a big hit with the kids, it has books and toys. The Maple room has a queen bed and two twins. There is a full bath on the hall. The Oak suite is also on this level. It has a private bath with shower, a king bed, a twin daybed with an additional pop up twin bed. The acorn room is an adjacent room that has two twin beds. This room has a fridge, wet bar, tv and seating. 7 steps up is the Tree Top Level, 3 bedroom apartment. It has a full kitchen/ living room and a Full bath with two entrances. The Cottonwood room has a queen bed and a twin daybed. This room has a private entrance to the bathroom. There is seating and a tv as well. The closet has a double floor mattress, linens on shelf. The Osage Orange room has two steps at the entrance, it has two twin beds and two floor cushions suitable for small children are stored in the closet. This small room has a padded floor. The Red Bud Room has a full bed, 2 twin size daybeds and a pull out, pop up trundle makes a third twin. 7 steps down from the main floor is the ground floor. The entrance to the brick patio is on this level. There is a laundry room with 2 washers and 2 dryers available by request 7 steps down from the ground floor level is the Hideaway level with a 5 bedroom apartment. It has an entrance inside the house and a separate outside entrance. There are several low bulkheads in this space where people over 6 ' will have to duck. There is a full size, eat in kitchen and living room, full bath. The Sycamore Room has a queen bed and a twin size bed in the large closet. (Can be moved to the bedroom at request) The Buckeye Room has 2 twin beds. The Meadowlark Room has two twin beds. The Monarch Room has two twin beds. The Blue Bird Room has a double bed and a twin bed. Outside the apartment there is a large brick patio and yard with seating and tables for large groups. Outdoor games include horse shoes, ladder ball, washer toss , yard Yahtzee and corm hole. There is a fire pit. Gas and charcoal grill. This house is a comfortable family home, it's not fancy. It is full of vintage treasures that will remind you of your grandmothers house! The owners have an apartment on the garage level with separate, outside entrance. They may or may not be in residence. Guest access Outside brick patio with fire pit and furniture, gas grill and outdoor games.Large deck off kitchen with furniture Wooded Walking trail north of house. Laundry room with two washers and two dryers by request. Other things to note We stock the kitchens with coffee, tea and cooking essentials, Bagels, cream cheese, English muffins, butter and fruit. House accommodates 30+ people, we charge $15 per person after the first 16 guests, This covers the set up of extra dining and beds.
