Blackbird Island (private island)

Smitty's Cabin is located on a Privately-owned Blackbird Island. This rustic cabin has all of the comforts of home including full kitchens including microwave, stove/oven and refrigerator, a dining area with table, and a full bath with a tub/shower combination. We also have TV with DVD's, G3 cell reception and DSL with Wi-Fi. Each cabin offers spectacular views of Lake of the Woods.Blackbird Island, located near Minnesota's Northwest Angle between Flag Island and Oak Island, offers World Class Fishing, small and big game hunting and great wildlife views. It is surrounded by Minnesota's Lake of the Woods and less than one mile from Canadian waters with over 14,000 islands and 65,000 miles of shoreline. Moor your boat to one of our docks. Take a boat ride, a day-long fishing trip with shore lunch, a hiking expedition or a canoe trip around the islands. Enjoy a lawn game in the sun or simply relax on the deck.
