Private Island Get-Away

Cute little private beach cottage/studio with access to a pool in a very relaxing setting only about 15 minutes by car from East Beach and the St Simons pier. The space This is an efficiency apartment complete with a 2-burner stove, a small fridge with a freezer, a microwave and a coffee-maker. There is an outdoor grill for cooking as well. You will have a private access to the efficiency and your own parking area. It is actually detached from the main house. And you will have use of the pool (which you may share with other tenants who may be renting the main house at the same time if I am gone…usually only for 1 or 2 months in the summertime.) A door from the efficiency opens on to it. There is a full-size futon bed as well as a pull out love seat which lies flat on the floor, perfect for one or two small children or one adult maximum. Guest access You will be able to access the outdoor area including the pool, the grill and the bikes. Just be mindful that there may be others in the main house sharing the space (only for one or two months in the summertime during which time I visit my children elsewhere.) Other things to note There are fishing and kayaking possibilities nearby at Village Creek Landing and we have kayaks we could let you use as well as bikes if you need them. You will need your own way to transport the kayaks, though and you will need to bring your own fishing rods. We could also be available to take you out on kayaking trips on the island for a small fee as we've been going for about 7 years now.
