Welcome to The Chester CopperPot Loft. Named after a reclusive scavenger from Astoria who went missing in the 1930's, while looking for one-eyed Willy's treasure. We have designed this attic space into an apartment for the individual who hasn't lost their inner child. Someone who can still appreciate a good Gooney's reference. The Loft has all the modern amenities, open concept floor plan, antique treasures and local art. We hope you enjoy your stay with us at The Art House Airbnb. The space We purchased this 1890's victorian mansion with a dream to restore and renovate the property into 3 charming and distinct apartments. We wanted to create a unique guest experience, each apartment was designed with a different theme in mind. Make sure to check out The Art House Cafe, enjoy some bubble tea, Happy Goat Coffee and some art from local artists. The Art House Airbnb is ideally located in the heart of Centretown, walking distance to all the city has to offer. Whether its attending a meeting or conference in the business district, catching a concert at Bluesfest, shopping in the Byward Market or enjoying the local nightlife - you can walk to it all. Other things to note The Art The Arthouse Cafe generously allowed us to extend their gallery by hanging up pieces by different Canadian local artists. Most of the art in the apartment is for sale!!! If you love a piece, take it home! The Arthouse Cafe can also arrange shipping to your home if that would be more convenient for you. **We have limited parking spaces. Please request parking at time of booking, we take requests on a first come, first served basis. We may not be able to fulfill your parking requests, but we will do our best. Parking is available at 651 somerset. Please inquire for parking. It is not on site but a lot down the road. Kindly note the arthouse cafe does play live music and this is a lively part of town. Noise can travel into the units. It’s a fun area but not completely quiet Netflix is compatible on most of our TV's, under netflix new licensing you will need to log into your account. Short term rentals in this area have a primiary resident component. You will notice some items of the landlords in the property. If you are local (from Ottawa and areas), we will require you to provide us some additional info in order to make us comfortable renting our home to someone living in our city. Please provide us the following: a fully verified profile, details on why you are renting and your plan for your stay, who will be joining you, if you have stayed in an Airbnb before as well as any other details you think may be pertinent.
