The "Gerani" apartment, 61 m2, is part of the ancient "Borgo La Grancia". It is located on the first floor and consists of a dining area with kitchenette, a small living room, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. It is furnished with Tuscan terracotta floors, beams, and period furniture. It overlooks one of the two historic courtyards, with immediate access to the terraced garden. Our guests can use the garden tables to dine al fresco and enjoy the beautiful view of the valley. The space Borgo La Grancia is a 13th century fortified farm perched on a hill in the delightful village of Montisi, near Pienza and Montalcino, where the landscape and its many colors change continuously throughout the year. The natural beauty of this area instills a feeling of peace and tranquility in all who visit. Every year in Montisi and the nearby towns, celebrations, food festivals, concerts, historical re-enactments and folkloristic events take place. Our little village offers some interesting activities organized by local professionals: Tuscan cooking lessons, painting lessons, food and wine tastings, truffle hunting. From Borgo La Grancia you can reach restaurants, bars, a grocery store, a pharmacy, a wine bar, a bakery and other small shops within a few minutes' walk. Guest access Guests have access to all the gardens, courtyards and the pool area which is for their exclusive use. Other things to note Upon request, we will be happy to show our guests some of the private areas of our historic home. Of particular interest are the rooms used by the Grand Duke of Tuscany in the 1700s, the small 19th century theater with 52 seats (one of the smallest theaters in the world) and the ancient cellars carved into the rock. For centuries, we've been producing extra virgin olive oil using organic methods. This tradition continues today, and you can purchase our products directly from us during your stay.
