The Sandpiper Cottage -Ontario's beautiful southwest coast, Turkey Point -1 of 5 Hartgill Vacation Homes -Modern, open-concept cottage -One block walk to the sandy beach -AC & Heat -Wood bonfire -Private yard space, not connected to others -Covered patio with lights -BBQ w propane -Walking distance to shopping, LCBO, restaurants -Connected w The Tiki Room -Private parking for 2-3 vehicles -Grassy yard -Dishwasher, Washer/Dryer -Rainshower, tub -Quiet, no disturbances from the connected cottage The space These 4 lovely cottages were built in 2017, and 1 was fully updated then (Cedar's Edge). Each has a private yard space and private entrances, but if you wanted to share with friends you could- Tiki is attached to Sandpiper, Beachy is attached to Coastal, and Cedar's Edge is next door to Beachy. Nothing is shared but it is nice to be so close to friends and family! The upstairs has the bedrooms, and one of the rooms is a loft- there is no wall or door to close it in, this is where the bunk bed is found. This room is open concept to the staircase and located in between the Queen bedrooms (those 2 rooms each have doors and full privacy). Laundry is found upstairs in a closet and is a stackable washer/dryer. We provide propane for the BBQ and fire table. We do not provide bedding or towels please be aware! (these can be rented if you like, just ask) *Discounted winter long-term stays available- please inquire! Guest access Guests have access to the entire cottage, the yard space, and their own driveway that fits 2+ cars. Other things to note -3 bedrooms, but the bunkbed room is open concept to the staircase with no door. - You might see some of our team around as they care for the yard. We aim to do this when it will disturb guests the least but sometimes it happens where it is during a stay. We apologize in advance. - There are two buildings, each with two units which share one (concrete) wall, nothing else is shared. - The TV has Netflix and other internet-based apps (no satellite or cable) - WE DO NOT PROVIDE BED LINENS- you will need to bring 2x Queen, 3x single (bunk & trundle) AND comforters. We DO provide 2 pillows per bed. -It is a condition of the rental agreement that there is a cleaning service provided after your departure. However, the cottage should be left in a neat and tidy state with everything put back in its place. A pre-departure checklist is attached to the fridge. The cottage will be inspected at the end of the rental and if the cottage has been left in a state of bad repair, this will be charged against you. -The cottage has a septic tank. Be aware that the system may back up if any other material is flushed away – this includes diapers, tampons and other sanitary products, Q-tips, cotton wool balls and condoms. Blockages are very expensive to rectify as well as being extremely inconvenient for you, as a plumber may not be readily available to clear the blockage. - There is a fire pit for your use, however, you are responsible for checking there is no fire ban in force during your stay – neighbours are very protective of their cottages and will not hesitate to report illegal campfires; fines start at C$1000! Please provide your own firewood.
