Welcome to our nest in the country, surrounded by farmland, in the heart of Lancaster county! Less than 5 min. from the PA Turnpike and the Renaissance Fair. We are 10 min. from the Spooky Nook sports complex, and 25 min. from both the Hershey attractions and the heart of Amish country in Lancaster. With a family restaurant only a short walk away, and a local farm market only a 2 min drive from the house, our place is perfect for families or individuals traveling for work or vacation! The space This place was formerly the home of the Bruckhart family, who ran a nearby dairy farm and raised their family in the home for 25 years. "Julie's Nest" was named in honor of Julie Bruckhart, who made this home a nest for her family. Guest access The whole house is yours! There is a beautiful covered porch overlooking the surrounding farmland, you might see the neighbors goats out running around in the meadow. The rec room in the basement offers a great place for the kids to burn energy, and through the patio door from the master suite we have a large deck to enjoy on a warm, sunny day! Other things to note The outbuildings are used by neighbors to keep goats, etc. They should be considered off-limits, otherwise feel free to walk around the property!
