The space The cozy apartment is located in our family-owned villa in Budapest’s 12th district, one of the city’s most elegant and peaceful green areas. Despite its quiet setting, the villa is surprisingly central: the M2 metro is just 10-minutes away, making all major sights of Budapest easily accessible. These include Buda Castle with Fisherman’s Bastion and Matthias Church, the Parliament, St. Stephen’s Basilica, Heroes’ Square, the Budapest Eye, and the famous thermal baths (Gellért, Széchenyi, Rudas, and Lukács). Museums, galleries, and antique shops in the area are also easy to explore. After a full day in the city, it feels wonderful to return to the calm, nature-filled surroundings, where guests can relax on the rose- and lavender-scented terrace, enjoy the sound of birdsong, and unwind with a glass of Hungarian wine. Our guests can enjoy the peace of a green residential area, the comfort of a villa, and the proximity of the city all at once. Getting around is easy: bus stops are just a 5-minute walk away. Nearby you will also find a petrol station, a well-stocked grocery store, as well as a bakery, café, and a Korean restaurant within a few minutes’ walk.
