Private-Peaceful-Garden escape: If you are visiting in the month of sept message me about walking the front yard labyrinth and harvesting your own dahlias. Located just minutes from every major attraction near Brevard. We have converted the lower floor of our 3-story house into a garden getaway. Guests have private entry, covered parking and patio featuring; a unique beer garden table and mini fridge. We give our guests complete privacy but are available and happy to help during your stay. This suite is open-concept and sleeps up to 4 guests, featuring one queen bed and a full/queen pull-out sofa bed. The kitchen is stocked with breakfast necessities, and a spice/coffee cabinet. The laundry area is hidden but accessible in the kitchen. The bathroom is spacious and handicap-accessible with a LARGE walk-in shower (featuring a bench), extra soap, shampoo, shavers, and plentiful towels. The living room space hosts a comfortable couch centered around a an aesthetic fireplace and TV for nights in. Guests will have access to WiFi, Roku, Disney +, Amazon Prime, and Netflix. In the living room space is a wonderful toy chest filled with fun toys for families with children, a bookcase with fabulous classics and children’s books, and a game cabinet with several board games. Work space nook with a desk, and basic office supplies. We try to provide extras of most things for your convenience. One of those things is - a pack-n-play, because who needs to lug a massive pack-n-play on vacation? :) The entire private spacious guest suite is located in the separate above ground basement section of the house and will be yours to enjoy for the entirety of your stay. There is an attached covered carport at the entrance of the guest suite for your use and convenience. The outdoor bistro table and beer garden table located under the covered carport is also for guests enjoyment. We have several hummingbird feeders located in the carport and some lovely hanging plants and succulents. The outdoor space is very scenic (a garden view) in the early morning with a cup of something warm to sip you can hear so many lovely birds sing, and if you keep an eye out you might see our white squirrel “Snow”. In the evening open up a cold drink and relax in the swivel patio chairs and unwind under the glowing outdoor lights. Bring your favorite beverage and cool them off for an evening “outside” in the mini fridge on the porch. We want your stay in the guest suite to be exceptional, stress free and one you won’t soon forget. My family and I normally start turning in for the night at around 9pm and are always awake by 8 am. But if you ever need anything after 9 pm or before 8 am, please do not hesitate to message me. The neighborhood is very quiet, and scenic; you may even see some cows. Being located so close to Brevard makes it easy to jump in the car and go grab breakfast or coffee, or take a morning walk at one of the many local hiking locations. Our neighborhood is a walkable neighborhood. There are many opportunities to see wildlife in the neighborhood and surrounding areas as well, including black bears, deer and white squirrels. We have a white squirrel that frequents our backyard named “Snow”and a family of deer that we also see in our yard frequently. We are in a very convenient location, and most always very easy to find. If you have any issues locating us, we are just a txt or phone call away and will be happy to assist you in getting here if you have any difficulty. We are very conveniently located to all of the major surrounding attractions, a scenic 8-10 min drive in either direction and you’ll find yourself in DuPont Forest, Pisgah Forest, or downtown Brevard. Some other local attractions near us: Reeb Ranch, Oscar Blues Brewery, and Holmes Forest. As previously mentioned we have 2 young children, and we do our very best to keep the noise level down, but we can only do so much as they are still very young. You will be able to hear some noise from the above level during the busiest hours of the day. Our space is thoroughly sanitized and cleaned in between every single guest, we use medical grade sanitizers and wipe down all surfaces to make your stay as clean and as comfortable as possible. We have a toy chest with all kinds of fun little toys/games for kids of all ages. We hope your child will find a “treasure” and get to bring it home. We also have a French press and a large variety of coffee for our coffee loving guests. The laundry is connected to the kitchen and available for your use anytime.
