Lil’ Backyard Cottage in Hillcrest

This is a small, cozy, safe, clean, and fully restored one-bedroom 1926 cottage in the backyard of a home in the Historic Hillcrest Neighborhood. It is perfectly designed for 1 guest or a couple; has its own kitchenette, a full-sized bed, and a 100 year old footed tub w a shower. Guests must walk up 3 steps without a handrail to get into the cottage. Must be 21 or older to book. A cot can be brought in upon request but it is a tight fit. Please see photos with cot in space. The space The cottage has been restored, with new plumbing, finishes, central HVAC, and electricity but keeps its original 1926 charm. It is small, about 300 square feet, but has 1 cozy full-sized bed, a full bathroom with a 100 year old clawfoot tub and shower, and a furnished kitchenette with a sink, an undercounter refrigerator, a microwave, and a coffee pot. (There is no oven.) It also has ample closet space and a stained glass window. It is a quiet retreat with no television. The cottage is attached to a private office with its own entrance. Guest access Guests will have access to the cottage. The cottage shares an interior wall with a home office (which has its own entrance). The office is not in use after working hours or the weekends. Guests will not have access to the office or the main house. If needed, there is a laundry mat nearby. Other things to note Parking is available on the street in front of the main house. The driveway is used by the main house's residents only and unfortunately, is not available to guests. The cottage shares an interior wall with a home office. If you want a pet, you can borrow her while you are here—if she’ll let you. You know…she’s a cat💁
