Experience the best of California here on the central coast, where the fresh cool ocean air tempts you to get out and explore the numerous outdoor activities. You do not want to miss out on exploring Montana De Oro, just down the street with it's miles of scenic coastal trails, tide pools and beach. You can choose horseback rides on the beach, golfing, hiking, kayaking, deep sea fishing, or enjoy wineries, festivals, farmers markets or take in the arts at galleries and special events. When there is not enough time to cook, you will find dozens of fine and unique restaurants in the area. All of these things are close and convenient and we provide maps to make things easy to find. This spacious home includes 2 kings, 3 queens, 3 twin trundles(sleeps 6), TWO cribs and a queen sleeper sofa in the office and TV room. This house comes with supplies and equipment for young families with little ones. In addition to the 2 cribs, we have a bassinet, 2 pack and plays, 2 high chairs, booster seats, intercom, stroller and baby's toys. The large generously equipped kitchen with center island, Jenn air stove and double oven provides plenty of room for the whole family to get involved with preparing meals. You can enjoy ocean views while preparing meals or sitting at the large kitchen table, which seats 8-10, while also enjoying the direct opening into the den, as well as close proximity to the large stainless steel barbeque on the back patio just steps out the kitchen door. One of the finest coastal views can be found in the semi private backyard, where the patio is the perfect place to relax, enjoy a drink and take in the beautiful views of Morro Bay and the ocean. The comfortable patio set has enough seating for eight. There are additional outdoor tables and chairs to seat everyone. The pool table in the family room was a hit. Lots of space for the 14 of us! We were able to visit wineries, Hearst castle and played tennis while we were there. We have stayed here for a week the last two summers with all of my family and we had a blast. The view is spectacular, the weather is awesome, the house is luxurious to say the least. Denise is a fabulous hostess and accommodated all of our special needs. The deer in the backyard twice a day were a bonus for the adults and children as well. The house is handicap accessible too. A spacious ocean view recreation room is equipped with a game table, pool table, PIANO, stereo and wet bar. Games and books for children and adults included. The three upstairs bedrooms include the master suite with one of the 3 gas fireplaces and two walk in closets, a master bath with a large jacuzzi tub and shower. You can watch deer in the back yard, while taking in the beautiful ocean view from inside or on the balcony of this fantastic room. The queen room has a new comfortable bedroom set and shares the adjoining master suite balcony. Another bedroom has a queen, a trundle bed and is fresh and bright with a youthful design. The main level bedroom has a new comfortable king pillow top bed and has easy access just inside the entrance to the house and adjacent to the full bath, formal living and dining rooms. The 5th bedroom on the main level is a large room with a queen pillow top and a trundle bed. There is a separate laundry area with washer and dryer for your use. We include many kitchen supplies such as non-perishable spices, paper towels, baggies, paper plates and napkins. Baths are complete with paper, fine soaps, and plenty of fresh, clean and fluffy towels. The Morro Bay area is the perfect place for a family vacation or a place to just get away from it all and enjoy the splendor of nature, peace and tranquility. The only thing missing is you. ***ONE WEEK MINIMUM FROM MEMORIAL DAY TO LABOR DAY AND HOLIDAYS*** The entire home is included in this property and is not shared. There are no steps from the driveway to the main common area of the house. There are 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath and one half bath on the main floor with 3 bedrooms upstairs. The common main floor does have a sunken formal living room with a 5" step down which is the only room not level with the remaining common area. The rest of the main floor is level and includes the dining room, kitchen, family room, recreation room, laundry room and garage. We are available to help you with local information, directions, dining suggestions, wine tasting information. We are very close by and can assist you with any information at the time you check in. The peaceful community of Cabrillo Estates is one of the only 3-4 hillside communities that is right at the edge of the pacific ocean in the central coast between Avila Beach and Monterey. It has the best views comparably and is right around the corner from one of California's best kept secrets, Montana De Oro. We consider it our own 8000 acre back yard which has pristine beaches, miles of coastal bluff and mountain trails, tide pools and beautiful seasonal wild flowers. After being here for 7 years I am still amazed when I drive through the community and think to myself, is there anything more beautiful than this? The location is very close to downtown Morro Bay and a short drive to San Luis Obispo, Pismo & Avila Beach to the south and Cayucos and Cambria to the North. It is also a short drive to over 250 wineries and all kinds of interesting events occurring all year throughout San Luis Obispo County. The house is located 1.5 miles from grocery stores and restaurants in Los Osos. Los Osos is just on the south side of Morro Bay. The San Luis Obispo airport and train station are about 14 miles from the house. Cal Poly is about 12 miles away. Montana De Oro State Park enterance is 1/2 mile from the house. We want to let you know our rules and instructions when you book. Pets may be allowed on an individual basis and are subject to additional non-refundable pet fees. Please inquire. RENTAL RULES AND REGULATIONS CHECK-IN TIME is AFTER 4 P.M. PST and CHECKOUT is 10 A.M. PST (early check-in based on availability) This is a NON-SMOKING property Pets are not permitted on the property unless approved. Additional non refundable pet fee is required. We will not rent to vacationing students or singles under 25 years of age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent. DAMAGE/RESERVATION DEPOSIT- A damage/reservation deposit is required and there is a hold on your credit card. No damage fees or extra charges will be applied providing the following: a) No damage is done to property or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear b) No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay c) All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in dumpster and soiled dishes are placed in the dishwasher and cleaned (excess garbage is subject to additional fees) d) All keys and garage remotes are returned at check-out e) All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure f) No linens are lost or damaged g) NO early check-in or late check-out (unless agreed upon in advance) h) NO EVIDENCE OF SMOKING OR PETS (extreme or obvious odor, burns or stains of furnishings or carpets) i) Renter is not evicted by the owner, representative of the owner, or the law enforcement j) No evidence of undisclosed guests above the number of guests permitted in this agreement (extra guest fees apply k) Unauthorized late checkout. Check out time is 10:00AM. Later check out must be authorized prior to check-in. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY & RULES - The maximum number of guests is limited to (16 guests). THIS PROPERTY REQUIRES A TWO (2) NIGHT MINIMUM STAY. (Minimum $1200 rental fee) This is a private home in a quiet estate setting. No parties or undisclosed guests are permitted. Special group events are permitted on an individual basis and are subjected to restricted times, noise levels, parking and number of guests. “Large Group or Event fees apply”. For weddings, graduations and birthday celebrations, please inquire for specific rules and fees. We are happy to help with nearby facilities that are very convenient to help you with your special event. Any unauthorized large group “party” or event will be in breach of this agreement, lose their entire deposit and may be instructed to vacate the property. Longer minimum stays may be required during holiday periods. INCLUSIVE FEES - Rates include a one-time linen-towel setup. Amenity fees are included in the rental rate. (Includes use of kitchen & bath supplies) NO DAILY MAID SERVICE - While linens and bath towels are included in the property, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate however is available at an additional rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the property with the exception of some beach towels kept in the laundry room. WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS - Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance. PARKING- Please park vehicles in the garage or in the driveway. When arriving with more than 3 vehicles, please use the garage. DO NOT park on the street or in the cul de sac in front of the house. Street parking is not allowed for vacation rentals. Vehicles may be ticketed if parked on the street. A MAXIMUM OF 6 vehicles allowed at one time. No over sized vehicles allowed.(Please discuss special parking needs if off site parking can be arranged) NOISE RESTRICTIONS - This property is in close proximity to other private residences. Please be courteous and aware of disturbance of neighbors. No honking of horns, shouting, or loud music or behavior is permitted. Neighbors will call law enforcement due to disturbances and our vacation rental permit may be revoked.
