PLEASE NOTE THIS ON THE 2ND FLOOR. The farmhouse has a private wing that sleeps 4-6 depending if some are children. It includes 2 bedrooms and a large bathroom w/ separated door into the bathtub and toilet area. Nookside Stables operates full-care horse boarding but does not offer trail riding or lessons (Ironstone Manor in Elizabethtown offers rides), Hersheypark, Sight & Sound Theater are all within 20 min. The Nook Sports complex & the Lancaster Junction rails-to-trails border our farm. The space Our farm is back in a long lane. The parking and entrance is at the circle driveway. Park,l and come up the sidewalk and ring the doorbell at the main entrance. Don and/or Kathy (or sometimes her parents) will greet you at the door and take you up the large spiral staircase to your private Nookside Farmhouse Suite. Two very large bedrooms with vaulted ceilings & dormers and a private large 2 room bathroom. The coffee bar comes with mini-microwave, Keurig coffee maker and a mini-fridge. Guest access Guests are welcome to explore the farm using the walking paths that lead to the horse pastures and we have easy access to the Lancaster Junction rails-to-trails. For those of you in for a tournament at the Nook Sports complex, guests have the option of avoiding the parking hassles and can walk the the 1/2 mile trail from our house to the site. During your stay Interaction with guests can be as minimal as desired or as much as guests desire as long as it does not slow-down Farmer Don's farm chores and Kathy's office & household chores :-) Other things to note PLEASE NOTE THIS ON THE 2ND FLOOR. It is a great view but you will have steps. It is has a microwave, coffee bar and mini-fridge, not a large refrigerator for storing lots of food. Great for ordering in and not so much set-up to make your own meals.
