Set in The Amber Valley Mills World Heritage site in an old but sunny former quarry teaming with wildlife. Walking distance to cafe beside the Cromford Canal & river. Train station in Whatstandwell for accessing Matlock etc. New local attractions are Wire Works Whisky Distillery with tours, Shining Cliff local Gin Distillery, Great British Car Journey, Crich Tramway Museum & The High Peak Trail and Midshires Way. For children try Heights of Abraham & Guliver’s Kingdom. Chatsworth is 11 miles :) The space Marmalade log cabin has a sitting room, kitchen with breakfast bar, veranda with seats and a table and chairs. These is a modern shower room, double bedroom and a bunk room. It sleeps 4 in total. It has wall mounted electric radiators that can be programmed from your smart phone, a log burner with kettle over and streaming such as netflix. Outside guests can use a fire basin and BBQ. Please buy your own wood, we gather some too. Guest access You can use the area in front of and to either side of the cabin. The adventurous may follow a path up to the left of the cabin for a ramble. Other things to note It is difficult to find! instructions need a little study or use the ‘what 4 word app’.
