During the summer, the waterfalls are still rushing into and filling two deep swimming holes. Enjoy your morning coffee, afternoons sunbathing, and evening meals on the exquisite, multi-leveled, redwood deck. It's hard to believe, but the waterfalls and swimming holes are located on this property. Since there are no other houses nearby and because there is no public access to stretch of creek, it is extremely private. Check-out our little farm with chickens, geese, ducks, goats and horses. Take a stroll around our 20 wooded acres and through our seasonal garden and orchard. Guest access Easy drive on well-traveled, wide paved road. Enter through a private, gated drive near the town of Whitmore. About a hour's drive to Lassen National Park, Burney Falls Lake Shasta, and Whiskeytown. About 30 minutes east of Redding and the Redding Airport. The town of Palo Cedro, complete with a grocery store, restaurants, and shops is about 20 minutes away. Other things to note The gourmet kitchen is well stocked with high-quality utensils, cookware, countertop appliances, and serving dishes. We have pantry items like a wide assortment of herbs and spices, olive oil, and sugar. We also offer a meal service if you'd like to take a night off from cooking. We welcome well-behaved dogs! If you are planning to be accompanied by your dog(s) please make that selection under the guest tab and send us a note to better describe you pups. We have a few protocols for your four-legged companions. We ask that they are leashed outside of the 3/4 acre fenced yard that surrounds the house. They aren't allowed on the furniture or beds, they are not to be left unattended unless crated, and that their hair is swept or vacuumed and poop picked-up prior to departure. Sorry, no cats.
