This log cabin is set up for relaxing enjoyment for your crafting group or family/friend retreats. Renting since 2007 by referrals, but new to AirBnB. Located near Rochester & close to charming town day trips. Biking, horseback riding, kayaking/canoeing & tubing antiquing & Amish nearby. Lots of trails & nature. My home is set-up for large group crafting scrapbooks & quilting. Must discuss total people stay for conditional use & collect area tax of 7.375% to total. Discount for 3 nt FR-MO stay The space The whole house is for your use & enjoyment. Surrounded by bluffs and trees so nature abounds. **Winter Warning** it is remote & country hilly roads. MUST have AWD/FWD/Good winter driving tires! Cell service spotty. Families can enjoy the spacious rooms and bedding while having plenty of getaway areas for peace indoors & outdoors. There’s an entertainment room, large screen TV, pool table & multiple TVs w/videos players. Computer access & internet is satellite. Kitchen/ dining seats over 24. No smoking inside or pets, parties or events on premises without permission as trying to keep it nice. *A party or event is when people not staying come & don’t have a vested interest in being respectful or responsible. We have neighbors and noise that carries to consider. We will come inspect the property at anytime if there is security risk * Guest access Whole house is for your enjoyment. Kitchen stocked for guest use of utensils and condiments. Laundry & water is septic so please no flushing of personal items or service call will be charged. Fireplace & outdoor pit has wood if available but not guaranteed fully if used more than once. Can get kindling wood at KwikTrip if needed. Rentals are nearby for bikes,kayaks, canoes, etc. This is a private road with other houses so please drive safely & be respectful of them. Other things to note *We do provide linens & extra bedding, but all towels used will need to be washed & dried for our next guests use as not part of cleaning fee/time. Tip: Have guests bring own towels to take home if want to save time. *Area has natural springs & have purification system so do not need to bring bottled water:) *We recycle to be responsible & keep trash to a minimum. 3 trash cans provided & no trash should ever be thrown on county roads as it is other's properties so please be respectful & responsible as well. **Winter Warning** Because it is a rural area & remote, you NEED 4WD/AWD or good tires in winter. County roads & driveway are gravel & will be maintained, but daily plowing is not possible nor is weather predictable. We are plowed after the county is done. If need more than one or more plowing for commuting that will be at your own expense as this is a Retreat place for you to stay & enjoy but cannot provide commuting help in winter. Cell service is spotty & can not guarantee all cell carriers are accessible. If a storm is coming, we can accommodate for earlier arrival or later departure so you can get here safely & enjoy your time.
