Les Gites de la Soulondre

Located on the edge of the river “Soulondre”, the building in which we welcome you is home to the remains of an old 18th century megisserie (where the skins were washed). It has been converted into three cottages, plus a multipurpose business room, garden, and pool. You are 5 minutes from the historic center of Lodève. Small errands and tours are on foot. In training, internship or in relaxation mode, holidays with friends, extended families, you are welcome! The space Our Gites can accommodate 15 people in a room for 2, 3 and 4 people. They are composed of 3 apartments of 80 m2, each with their own personality. In addition: an activity room of 70 m2, located on the garden level, is made available during the day and can be privatized in the evening on request. Its realization was supported by ADEME, which allowed us to respect an eco-responsible specifications. The materials used for its renovation keep it cool in summer and warm in winter. Its opening to the garden and pool on one side, the river on the other, make it a nice proposal. It can accommodate up to 50 people. Fully modular, it is equipped with a bar, video projector, light projectors, speakers, foosball, tables and chairs, cloakroom and toilet. You will have exteriors for more relaxation (swimming pool, garden, seating area, outdoor kitchen with plancha and cold rooms). Guest access We share with you in addition to the activity room located on the garden level, the garden, the swimming pool, the barbecue, where corners have been arranged so that you can occupy the space at your leisure, alone, with family, friends: hammock, sun loungers, “nutlade” corner large table for aperitifs, meals, improvised evenings, small tables for more privacy. In the cottages, books are at your disposal: you will find novels, books on nature, health, cooking, local heritage, tales and legends, immersive narratives. Upstairs, a common area has been set up. It offers everyone: toys, games, books, tips, shared addresses, tourist documentation, amenities to share (vacuum cleaner, dryer, hair dryer, ironing board, iron). All the facilities were made of wood and ecological materials and recycled by Potentiel Jeunes, an insertion site located in Lodève. We also provide groups of 4 electric bikes from the Bird brand. made in France. Other things to note The street where we are ends in GR, long hiking path. So it's very difficult to drive, and impossible to park. In Lodève parking is free (with a disc in some areas). But you may have to walk a bit to find us. In exchange, once you settle in, you'll have a royal calm! On the other hand, who says calm says there is no noise... so late parties are allowed. It still leaves plenty of other opportunities to come together and have fun!
