The Whiteface Room at Winterberry B&B

The Whiteface room is 1 of 3 rooms in the quaint and charming village home known as the Winterberry Bed & Breakfast. Built in 1890 with wood floors, it has a brick fireplace and a cozy feeling. It is well positioned for any activity. Downtown Lake Placid is an approximate 15-25 minute walk. Winterberry has three guest rooms total. The space The Winterberry has a cozy living room with a beautiful brick fireplace. The dining room is inviting and quaint. The carpeted stairs to the second floor are on the narrow and steep side. The dining room is a relaxing and comfortable space for breakfast. The Whiteface room (and the other two guest rooms) are on the second level, each with a private, full bathroom. The Whiteface room is bright and decorated simply with tasteful antiques. The Whiteface room's private bathroom is roomy and has a shower. See Other things to Note for info on breakfast. Guest access Guests have access to the Whiteface room and all the common spaces of the B&B (Living room, dining room, porch and yard, and parking area). There is no kitchen access, though there is access to a small refrigerator, hot pot, toaster and microwave. During your stay Lisa and/or Randy will possibly meet you at check-in or have you set up for self check-in. Randy is usually around on the weekday mornings, or you may meet him or Lisa on the weekends when we prepare breakfast. We are happy to share our knowledge of the area to help you maximize your time and enjoyment of Lake Placid. Other things to note This listing is a traditional B&B style listing though we do not reside on the premises. INFO about Breakfast: A coffee/tea bar is always available. Sat/Sun morning stays include a hot breakfast. Weekday mornings include a more continental-style breakfast basket (fruit/biscotti or breakfast biscuits,etc/juice) and access to an oatmeal/cream o' wheat bar in addition to the coffee/tea bar.
