Located in a historic neighborhood, this carriage house studio is your quiet garden oasis after a long day experiencing all Memphis has to offer. We're located minutes from the cultural and historic sights of the city, including the Memphis Zoo, Stax, Sun Studio, & Memphis in May festivities. Sleeps up to 6 people - 1 q. bed, 1 q. sofa sleeper, 1 q. air mattress. Full bath & kitchen. Please note: extra guest fee does not apply to kiddos - only to extra adults. This carriage house studio apartment is located on a 3/4 acre landscaped lot in Midtown Memphis, near all the city has to offer, while providing a private and quiet retreat after a busy day. Enjoy your morning coffee in our garden, or enjoy a beverage on the patio at the end of your day while playing yard games. Available for both short- and longer-term stays, the studio includes one queen-sized bed, as well as a queen-sized sofa sleeper with an air mattress (and it's actually comfortable-we've slept on it!). There are additional 22" tall queen- and twin-sized air mattresses available for you to use upon request. There is a full kitchen, including a Keurig and all necessary cooking and eating utensils, a full bath with a shower, and closet/drawer space. This property is also kid-friendly! We have an awesome tree swing in the backyard, and lots of books and toys to keep the shorter humans entertained during your stay. Your private escape includes gated off-street parking, with dedicated space right outside the carriage house. Guest access Prior to your arrival, I will send you directions to the home and instructions on accessing the gate and the keys. The yard is fully fenced in. The carriage house is at the back of the property, but you are welcome to spend time in the yard during your stay. Other things to note We have two indoor dogs who are very friendly (although one is rather shy). You might run into one or both of them during your stay. You may interact with them, but like all animal encounters, please be respectful!
