The apartment « Auprès de mon arbre » on the first and last floor of a stone house, is located in the center of Pontmain, 150 meters walk from the basilica and barn of the apparition. You will benefit from private parking and a small gravel courtyard with a beautiful centenary tree! This accommodation is equipped, comfortable, quiet and close to shops ( Grocery store, bakery, restaurants...) and the forest where there are beautiful walking and/or hiking trails. The space The 75 m2 apartment includes 2 main spaces: - a living space with kitchen, dining room, living area with comfortable sofa bed for 2 people or workspace - a spacious bedroom with a double bed and a single bed also allowing to have a workspace. In addition, there is a bathroom with bathtub and built-in shower, a separate toilet and a laundry room with washing machine, dryer, ironing board, steam plant and vacuum cleaner. The colors and brightness of the apartment add a touch of calm and serenity to the accommodation. In any case, that’s what I wish you :-) Other things to note A 2-minute walk from your home is the basilica built at the end of the 19th century near the site of the apparition of the Virgin Mary on January 17, 1871 in Pontmain. It has 2 towers with 39 carillons and remarkable colored stained glass windows. Pontmain also has its contemporary art center. Nearby you will find many hiking trails, mountain biking circuits, ponds for fishing, the Fougères forest and the Chênedet pond (for swimming) with its sandy beach and tree climbing course, the aquatic center in Fougères, restaurants, shops and many other things to discover! Remember to go to the associative grocery store in Saint-Mars-sur-la Futaie (3 km from Pontmain) where you will find a wide choice of local products that highlight our artisans. You will be welcomed by a dynamic and warm team who will be able to advise you!
