We are situated above a gorgeous meadow, sunsets and sunrises are breathtaking and definitely inspire many photo opportunities! Bring your Cameras ! Enjoy a peaceful retreat in this charming cabin. Beautifully furnished loft bedroom with a Rod Iron Antique Queen bed, plush linens, a goose down comforter and plenty of pillows. There is an Iphone-Ipad Clock Radio along side the bed for easy charging of your mobile devices. The living area also has a large leather sofa, coffee table, dining table which seats 4 and our family piano...all overlooking the Gorgeous Meadow. These are Wall to Wall Views ! Breathtaking at every hour ! You will see Red Tail Hawks, Owls, All sorts of birds, Coyotes, Bears, Deer and even Bald Eagles! Squirrels and Chipmunks are plentiful ! Look for the Binoculars on the dining table to see farther out into the wilderness. And if you use the sauna, the door also has a view into the beautiful meadow . We ask you to play the lovely piano which we have had in the family for over 50 years. The sound is clean and adds spirit to our cabin :)) The cabin has Wifi Internet, Roku Stick and DVD too ! The fully stocked kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, dishes, all sorts of beverage glasses, coffee maker, espresso maker, French Press, microwave, gas range and oven, dishwasher, crock pot, juicer, blender, toaster, utensils, silverware, serving dishes, cutting boards, saran wrap, tin foil, napkins, paper towels, and all the comforts of home! We have a superb alkaline water purifier and provide you with several glass bottles of purified water. If you decide to use the Infrared Sauna we will also provide you with several bottles of Alkaline water to enhance your detoxification process. Our bath area is a full bath with tub and shower and plenty of dressing space. We provide plush towels for your comfort and more if you plan to use the sauna. Please do bring some slippers for the walk to the outdoor hot tub. It sits right on the meadow and has magnificent views ! The stars are brightest at night when all the lights are out , so do take the mini portable light down to the hot tub...then turn it out when you get in the tub and marvel at this Gorgeous Galaxy Above! Hiking and Biking are right outside the front door! Wander into the meadow and watch the wildlife, the waterfalls, the stream all within walking distance of the property. The lake is a short bike ride away and you can easily ride to many shops and restaurants on Lake Tahoe Blvd. We are right in the middle of town in a quiet residential area with open lots on all sides. The property is fenced from the street providing ultimate privacy and seclusion. That's how we like it :)) In the winter time you will find the Best Skiing just 10 minutes from the cabin ...3 miles away ...Heavenly Ski Resort. Not only are there a multitude of extraordinary runs to ski or board, but there are also many superb events to enjoy. Look up Heavenly Ski Resort for the latest and Greatest ! If you prefer a smaller resort but still with amazing terrain, try Sierra Ski Resort which is a quick 20 minute drive west on Highway 50. This smaller resort has trained some of our recent Gold Medal Olympians! And for even more adventure take an hour drive through beautiful Hope Valley , down Highway 88, to Kirkwood Ski Area. You won't be disappointed ! They have Incredible Skiing mountains and wonderful shops and restaurants too ! Then, if you choose to go to the North side of Lake Tahoe, you can ski at Northstar , Squaw Valley, Alpine, Mount Rose, Diamond Peak...all within a 45-90 minute drive. And if you just want to play in the snow, well, it's everywhere ! So, bring your sleds, saucers, snowshoes, cross country skis ...or rent them in town. There are many places to rent equipment here and be sure to ask if I have any discount coupons...because I often can get them as I have been a resident and business owner here for over 25 years .
