It heats up in 5-10 minutes and once finished with please turn it off. More than unnecessary electrical usage, it messes up with the electricity in the rest of the house if left unattended. A similar hot water system exists for the kitchen sink. Turn on the switch on the right side of the sink once in the morning for upto 10 minutes and it will last you through the day.
