Farm Stay Vineyard Jarc is a charming countryside retreat surrounded by rolling vineyards and lush greenery. Perfect for two guests, the cozy room features a comfortable king size bed. The space The Jarc family farm, which specializes in viticulture and winemaking, is located in the village of Svečina, a small village in the northern part of the Slovenske Gorice region, right next to the Austrian border, and is also home to the famous "Heart among the Vineyards." From the doorstep of our agritourism farm, one can see the beautiful amphitheater of the Svečina vineyards, and on the other side, there is a view of the Kozjak and Pohorje mountains, as well as the Kor Alps. The family is proud of their wines because they reflect all their energy—energy from nature, from the soil and the sun, from their work, and from their hearts. Their wines showcase the uniqueness of the Styrian terroir, which is most evident in their fruitiness and lively acidity, making their wines fresh and an excellent accompaniment to food. Guests can stay in modern rooms with beautiful views, enjoy a rich homemade breakfast, and taste other culinary delights produced on the farm, along with, of course, the family’s wines. Nearby, there are numerous interesting excursion points: many vineyard farms offering wine tasting on both sides of the border, the Kebl Vineyard Museum, Svečina Castle, the lookout tower at Plački peak... A special feature is the so-called Vinotour, an international Nordic walking route that passes by the farm and winds through the vineyards on both sides of the border. Maribor, Pohorje, and Ptuj are also easily accessible by car. Guest access Guests have access to a private room with a bathroom. There is a common area where breakfast is served.
