If you are looking for a place that is up to date, quiet, clean, minutes to everything from hiking, skiing, dining, shopping and just plain relaxing, the Franconia River House is at the epicenter of it all. Other places aren't better, they're just different. The space The River House has a three level lay out with cathedral ceilings giving a big open feel to the living space. The main level contains the kitchen, dining and living room with fireplace along with the Master bedroom. The loft features a cozy lounge area with large picture windows overlooking the Gale river and the Crow's Nest bedroom with king-size bed. The perfect place to relax. The lower level ( finished basement ) has two bedrooms: the Green room (queen size bed), and the Blue room (bunkbed - single upper and full size lower). The lower level also features a fun and quirky retro 70's pool table that is sure to test your skills. Guest access As a guest at the River House, you'll have access to the entire house as well as the grounds. With over 200 feet of private river frontage, you'll be able to enjoy the sights, sounds and feel of the Gale river. Other things to note Why we don't recommend the River House for children under the age of 3 years is due to the amount of stairs that go up to the loft bedroom and lounge and down to the lower level bedrooms and pool room. It is simply a safety issue. Please let us know if you have special consideration. In regards to PETS: The River House is a pet free environment for a variety of reasons and it isn't based on how small or well behaved your pet is.
