This converted bus parked on private property provides a unique way to experience Lancaster County. Located in Amish country & about 10 minutes from great shopping, guests can wake up to peace and quiet and a countryside view. With a full-size bed as well as couches that easily convert into a King-sized bed, the bus is a great getaway for couples, friends, and families! FYI: please read full listing for information about bus water temperature FYI: the location of the bus has changed since 2022 ***NOTE: The shower now has hot water as long as the outside temperature is above 32 degrees (we have to take the hot water heater off when temps are below freezing). Kitchen water is still only cold.*** This bus contains the comforts of home within a unique space -- couches easily converted into a king-sized bed, full-size bed, kitchen (full refrigerator/freezer, stovetop, oven, drinking water dispenser), desk with rolling chair, drawers for travel storage, and a composting toilet and a shower. The bathroom is outfitted with an eco-friendly composting toilet (instructions are posted above it). Please note, this is not a normal toilet. This is a glamping toilet! Water pressure in the bus is not great because of how far the hose has to travel to fill the bus. Kitchen water is still only cold.*** 3 dogs have free run on the property. They generally love people, and they will probably come barking and greet you. They are used to moving out of the way of vehicles. The property has 2 ponies in a electric fenced area. Please do not touch fences around the property as some of them are electric. There are some chickens that also have free run of the property. We have a friendly golden retriever, Australian shepherd, and King Charles cavalier that have free run on the property. They will probably come barking and running when you pull in, but talk to them and pet them and you'll probably become their new best friend. The property has 2 ponies in a electric fenced area. Please do not touch fences around the property as some of them are electric. There are some chickens that also have free run of the property. If you make noise and make yourself "big," they'll waddle away. Trampoline and Play set is on the property, but please ask first before using and understand that usage is at your own risk.
