The Yurts are unique not only in its special design but also with its opening dome-window, through which the star sky can be seen from the bed. All yurts can be used throughout all seasons due to built-in air-condition. Guest access How to reach Homoki Lodge with a car? Homoki Lodge is located in secluded natural area and can be reached safely via sand roads. We strongly advice to follow our driving directions. Your GPS might not always find the best track. In case you prefer to be picked up, please get in touch about transfers. How to access the accommodations? The different accommodations radiate in various directions between 30 and 70 meters distance to the reception. They are all located at the Homoki Lodge – Nature Quest property, approximately a 2-4 minutes walk from the reception. There are associated parking areas close to each of the accommodations. The walks are easy, most of them are on “homok”, now they have learned their first Hungarian word which means sand! There is one easy access Yurt with a private parking level next to the private entrance available. How are the accommodations heated or cooled? Homoki Yurts are equipped with full air-condition and under floor-heating. Homoki Residence and Homoki Rooms are built from natural materials like adobe mixed with straw, acacia tree and wild growing reed were exclusively used for the authentic reconstruction of the estate. The combination of these materials are providing a natural insulation against heat or cold, therefore at high summer temperatures there is no need of air condition. This accommodations are fitted with central heating systems for during cooler days. Is there a bathroom in my accommodation? All accommodations are equipped with én suite fully fitted bathrooms. Bathrooms are providing a shower or bath tub or jacuzzi, sink(s), toilet, hair-dryer, magnifying mirrors, towels, bath ropes and free toiletries. Do I need to carry my luggage? During reception hours a porter is happy to help you to bring the luggage to your accommodation. Is there anything other than the accommodations at Homoki Lodge – Nature Quest Resort?
