This spacious and bright two-story town home with two bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms is located in the oceanfront condominium complex Seascape Sur in Solana Beach, steps from the beach. A generously equipped kitchen, living room with fire place, a patio with barbecue and city views allow for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. Washer, dryer, iron and ironing board are located inside the unit. Common area amenities include pools, spas and tennis courts. Prices include 13% city tax. The town house is a two story building in a condominium complex. It offers a spacious master bedroom with California king size bed, ample closet and storage space, TV, work area with a monitor for your laptop, wireless internet access, and a beautifully designed master bathroom with large walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, TV, and closet. A full bathroom with bathtub is located across the hallway. Washer and dryer are available for your use. Both bedrooms are located downstairs, which keeps temperatures comfortable throughout the year. Please note that the house has heating, but no air conditioning. Heating is limited to a maximum of 71dF (~22dC). Several floor fans are provided to keep you cool. Kitchen, living and dining areas are located upstairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, coffee machine and toaster oven. You'll find pots, pans and utensils to cook and serve your own meals. Cable TV is available with approximately 70 channels. Enjoy a barbecue or relax on the upstairs patio. You have access to all areas of the house except for some personal storage areas that are locked up. You can spend time at the common areas such as the two pools and spas, use the clubhouse with pool table, library and table tennis, as available. Please be aware that common area facilités may be closed due to repairs, events or other unforeseeable circumstances and are not guaranteed. An agent will greet you the day you arrive, hand you the keys and explain the features of the property. You will have a contact number to call throughout your stay should any problem occur or should you have any questions or concerns. Please do not visit or contact the management office of the complex except in case of emergencies regarding the building, such as a fire or flooding. The coastal stretch of Solana Beach is a quiet, safe and walking friendly area. The beach is right next door. You are within a few minutes walk of the famous Cedros designer and artist district. Many restaurants of all categories are nearby, such as Subway, CPK, Italian, Asian, and others. Post office and CVS (drug store and pharmacy) are in walking distance, food stores Vons and Sprouts are about a mile away. On Sundays, shop for fresh local produce at the farmer's market. The sandy beach is a few steps away, accessible through a staircase down the bluff at the Northern exit of the condominium complex. Lifeguards are on duty throughout summer from Memorial to Labor Day. Showers and facilities are nearby at the Fletcher's cove beach access a half a mile to the North. At low tide, the beach stretches for miles from Del Mar to Encinitas. Throughout summer, enjoy open air concerts at Fletcher's cove half a mile away. The Del Mar Fairgrounds and Racetrack with many events, exhibits and races throughout the year is right around the corner. World famous Torrey Pines golf course is a short drive away. If you like hiking, try the San Elijo Lagoon to the North of Solana Beach with its numerous nature trails. You may want to check out the Coastal Rail Trail along the coast or a hike parts of the Coast to Coast trail that starts at the Del Mar Racetrack. Using your car is always an option. If you like to explore San Diego in a different way, you can take the Coaster or Amtrak trains departing at the Solana Beach train station. Or hop on local bus 101, which runs along the coast from Oceanside to La Jolla with beautiful views of the beaches and coastal cities such as Encinitas, Leucadia and Carlsbad. Prices include 13% occupancy tax charged by the city of Solana Beach. No tax is due for stays of 31 nights or longer. The unit has no amenities for babies or toddlers and is not child proof. Therefore, I won't be renting to families with children under the age of 5. All guests and expected visitors need to be indicated at the time of reservation and must not exceed a total of 4 people. Additional guests are not allowed in the house or on the property, also not temporarily.
