The space You will find plenty of room for privacy, relaxation and social distancing. We follow all AirBnB guidelines and protocols while cleaning, including disinfecting all surfaces and sanitizing between guests. Nestled up against the Tesuque Hills and at the foot of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, this spacious 500 sf studio has a very rural feel, but yet still close to town. It is great for couples and single guests, but we can also accommodate young children (on the sleeper sofa) and well behaved dogs. Beautiful views north to the Pojoaque Valley and west to the Jemez Mountains. Great access to miles of hiking trails and to nearby ski areas. It is conveniently located between Tesuque Village and the City of Santa Fe. You enter up one flight of stairs to a light filled space with coved ceiling, Santa Fe style vigas, and Southwest decor. Charming Mexican tiles on kitchen island and in bathroom. Private covered portal for relaxing and enjoying the northern New Mexico landscape. Radiant floor heat and gas fireplace for cool nights and air conditioning for warm summers. Comfortable queen sized bed with 800 thread count sheets and comforter. There is also a sleeper sofa for one small child. Large desk and comfortable workspace with access to free WiFi. Fully equipped kitchenette with pots, pans, utensils, plates, glasses, and flatware. Flat screen TV with full cable access, Wi-Fi, coffee maker, toaster, and microwave also available. There is a separate parking area for guests. It is just 4 miles from a shopping center with four restaurants, grocery stores (Sprouts and Albertsons), retail shops, and more. The historic downtown plaza is a short drive (8 minutes) and it is less than 1 mile to Tesuque Village with a market, art gallery, and two wonderful restaurants. Space will be completely sanitized between guests and extra cleaning supplies provided. Guest access Guests can have complete privacy without any physical contact with the hosts. You have access to an outdoor fireplace and bistro table in a shared courtyard. Fenced courtyard for pets. There is a washer and dryer in the main house available upon request. Other things to note Perfect for social distancing during COVID-19 pandemic. Upstairs studio with great views of the Pojoaque valley, easy access to hiking trails on ridge behind house with breathtaking 360 degree views of the Ski Basin and the Jemez Mountains. Close to a bike path and fantastic cycling in northern New Mexico. Downhill skiing at the Santa Fe Ski Basin is a 30-minute drive and cross-country skiing in the winter is also close by. Santa Fe is known for its numerous galleries, museums, restaurants, and shopping all within 8-minute drive. The world-class Santa Fe Opera is just 4 minutes down the road. We do allow one well behaved dog, but are not able to have cats (due to allergies). If you do have your dog with you, please bring sheets or blankets to cover the furniture and bedding to protect from hair shedding and muddy paws and we appreciate your picking up dog waste.
