RELAX, RELAX, RELAX - Located on one acre of land, the house built in 1917 sits above the Esopus river with direct views of the mountains and Esopus. It is only a 5-minute walk to great restaurants and shops in the village of Phoenicia or 5-minute drive to Phoenicia Diner & Woodstock Brewing. 20-minute drive to Hunter & Belleayre summer concerts and skiing. The house has upgraded high-speed internet (Spectrum Ultra 400 Mbps). Shankdaken STR # 22-STR-A0-029P The space The house is an ideal place to catch up with friends or family while relaxing. Or perfect to "work from home" while on vacation. You will find a large, well-equipped kitchen for cooking and socializing, separate dining room with seating for 10 (plus a kitchen table that seats 6), dishwasher, washer/dryer, tons of toys and games for kids, two televisions, and a large yard for running around or throwing a football around. We also have a full-size Weber BBQ, outdoor dining for 8+, a hammock, two tree swings, and a fire pit for campfires. The house also has upgraded Spectrum Plus giving everyone the bandwidth they need. The kitchen is truly enjoyable to cook in including All-Clad pots/pans and Wustof knives. We also have your choice of a standard coffee pot, french press, pour-over coffee, or Nespresso machine (original). The house is directly on the NYC bus route making it easy for people to come up or leave without a car if necessary. We are also walking distance to two different trail routes so you could avoid renting a car altogether but still in the middle of nature. We are conveniently located 21 minutes to Hunter or 18 minutes to Belleayre. Three rooms have queen beds and one room has a full, a twin and a futon. Please Note: We do not have a microwave as we think country life should be slower. Feel free to bring up a small unit if you would like to use one yourself. Guest access Guests will have the run of the house and the property. A local property manager is located near by for an issues that may arise. Other things to note The house has stairs so not advisable for those with unsure footing (toddlers and the elderly). Also, the house is not baby or toddler proofed so rent at your own risk. We are pet friendly but please contact me prior to booking with details about your pet.
