Saxmundham is the ‘hub’ of the area, so a perfect base for a break to the Suffolk Coast. It’s around 30 mins drive-time of most of the fabulous places to visit - such as Southwold & Walberswick, Framlingham, Orford, Halesworth, and Woodbridge. The space CORNER COTTAGE is one of a group of 3 self-contained Holiday Cottages on the same site, each Rated 4* Self Catering by Visit England. CORNER COTTAGE is a very characterful single-storey Cottage, and perfect for couples or friends holidaying together, for longer stays, or for Business Travellers or ‘home-working’. The accommodation is all on one level, so no steps or stairs, and the bedrooms and bathroom on the ground floor. The Cottage is full of traditional features, such as the exposed beams and feature fireplaces. The sitting room and the kitchen/diner are separated by a stunning fireplace. The open-plan layout makes it a very sociable space. The kitchen is fully-equipped with a range-style cooker (gas hob & electric double oven), fridge-freezer, microwave, and small appliances - including a Tassimo coffee machine. The beds in the larger bedroom can also be arranged as a Twin room (with two 2ft 6-inch single beds) - if requested at the time of Booking. The other bedroom has a standard 4ft 6 double bed. The bathroom is fully tiled, and has a roof window which gives loads of natural light. There's Gas Central Heating, for cosy stays in winter and plenty of hot water all year round. All bedding, bed-linen & towels are provided. We also provide hand-towels in kitchen & bathroom, and plenty of tea towels. We provide essentials such as salt, pepper, foil, cling-film, kitchen roll, and plenty of toilet rolls. On your arrival, you'll also find tea, coffee, sugar. Business Travellers & Work-Stays welcome We can accommodate up to 5 colleagues, all in separate bedrooms, when the whole group (of 3) Cottages are booked together. Longer stays welcomed. Full on-site Laundry facilities available - with large washing machines and fast tumble dryers. The charging of Electric Vehicles using our Mains Electricity is not permitted. There are EV Charging Points in the town. - Maximum Occupancy is 4 guests and Over-occupancy is not permitted. No extra beds can be provided, and sleeping on floors or sofas is not permitted. - Min stay 3-nights, starting Friday or Monday.
