Located in the heart of the village of Barbizon, on the famous Grande Rue, the Artémis cottage welcomes you in an authentic and peaceful setting. Just a short walk from restaurants, galleries and museums, and less than 400 metres from the Fontainebleau forest, this is the ideal location to discover the artistic spirit of the village and enjoy wonderful walks in nature. A cosy haven for a stay immersed in culture, nature and the art of living. The space The separate entrance opens onto a cosy living room with a fireplace, perfect for relaxing after a day of walking. You will find a dining table for 4 people, a sideboard with a TV and two comfortable armchairs in front of the fireplace. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for your stay: oven, coffee maker, kettle, refrigerator and kitchen utensils, so you can easily prepare your meals. The accommodation is arranged over two floors: • On the first floor: a bedroom with a wardrobe and a bathroom with a toilet. • On the second floor: a second bedroom with a dressing room. ⚠️ Important point regarding the layout: access to the bathroom and toilet is through the bedroom on the first floor. For this reason, the accommodation is particularly suitable for families with children or for travellers who know each other well. The cottage can accommodate up to 4 people and is an ideal base for exploring Barbizon, the Fontainebleau forest, art galleries and the many restaurants within walking distance. Guest access The cottage is located on the property of the main house, but has a completely separate entrance. The accommodation is entirely private and exclusively reserved for guests during their stay. This will allow you to enjoy the cottage in complete peace and with full independence.
