In the short vicinity there are also 4 wineries, plenty of restaurants including famous Brauhaus Art centers, organic farms, ski, skydiving, paragliding and many many more. The friendly hosts are local enthusiasts and are happy to share their knowledge of the best spots and variety of the local activities with the guests of the house. No public transit, the car is the best way to get here, however taxi cab from New Paltz can take you there to spend a relaxing day or two.
