Our goal has been to make this house a place of refreshment and rest, providing the basic amenities modern guests have come to expect, while maintaining an atmosphere of days gone by. We hope our guests feel welcome and at peace during their stay with us. We are happy to welcome families with small children and/or infants, but want to make you aware that the house is not specifically prepared for small children. (i.e., there are no gates on stairways, etc.) There is a small yard immediately surrounding the house, which guests are free to enjoy. While we are happy for guests to enjoy the view of the adjacent farm, we request that no one enter through any pasture gates, etc., in order not to disrupt any of the farm activities. Thank you for your understanding! We enjoy getting to know our guests, according to their desires and our availability. We live on a working farm, and our level of activity ebbs and flows with the seasons. The Little Yellow Farmhouse is situated in a rural setting, surrounded by trees, farms, and few houses. Nearby attractions include The Canfield Fair, Shaker Woods festivals, and the renowned Rogers Community Auction and Flea Market. There is plenty of parking space on the Yellow Farmhouse property, which is available for guests' use. This includes a full loop turn-around, which makes entering and exiting the property very convenient, even for large rigs, such as truck and trailer. The basement is not remodeled to be usable space for guests. However, guests are welcome to access the washer and dryer that are at the bottom of the basement stairs.
