Welcome to Birch Lake! Our cottage is tucked away just outside of the beautiful town of Elk Rapids. This home away from home is set on over 110 feet of private shore line on a crystal clear, spring fed, all sports lake. We are on 4 acres of wooded land with protected wetlands along our northern border. We see lots of wildlife including deer, rabbits, ducks, loons, turtles and beaver. Birch Lake is a sandy bottom lake with a gradual slope, making it perfect for swimming. Our cottage provides comfortable sleeping for six. The master bedroom has a queen size bed. The guest rooms have 2 twin beds all freshy made waiting for your arrival. Our kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, utensils, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, stove/oven. Our bathroom has a new shower and has two doors, one connecting to the master bedroom and one for guest rooms to access. Minutes away from downtown elk rapids providing access to the beautiful Grand Traverse Bay through a white sandy beach.
