Named for the family that expanded the Inn to its current size in 1853, the Teter-Wood is on the 1st floor, formerly the library. Queen artisan iron bed with private bath & a tile shower. An electric fireplace stove sits on the old hearth. A private porch with seating views our 1875 barn. Amenities: luxurious linens & towels, plush robes, local toiletries, hair dryer; a desk, high speed internet, AC, 24-hour access coffee/tea bar. Daily breakfast & housekeeping included. No pets please. The space First floor guest room with separate access to the outdoors and private porch. Limited handicap access. Guest access Living Room, Den, Dining Room, Solarium, 1 1/2 acres of gardens, outdoor gazebo on Mill Creek, and verandas. During your stay The Innkeeper lives on site and is available throughout your stay. Other things to note Circa 1853 home steeped in railroad history and trains pass in front of the Inn! Light traffic; only scheduled train is Amtrak's Red Cardinal line 3 days a week, other trains are at random and no heavy cargo, typically empty coal cars headed to W Virginia.
