Big Woody Cabin is the perfect setting to reconnect with the outdoors and each other. Ditch the treadmill and be present for a time. You and those most special to you can hike the woods, safely swim or paddle the tranquil motor-free lake, be awestruck by the night sky, enjoy the fire pit, share meals from the grill and/or gourmet kitchen, relax with an Adirondack and book on the floating or fixed dock or two story deck. Isn't it time to make some memories? Now with central A/C. 😎 The space Big Woody is a three story log cabin nestled in a secluded ravine with over 200' of private lake front. Indoors features a two story Great Room with floor to ceiling granite hearth (FW incl.). The cabin has four bedrooms and two full baths (one tub and one tub/shower combo). The cabin very comfortably hosts eight adult guests with a maximum of ten guests. The loft (open to the great room below) features a queen bed, a day bed (2 stacked singles), a three piece bath, small office area and a private screened in balcony overlooking the woodland surroundings. The main floor features the Great Room, full kitchen, dining for eight, Canada Room (two singles with DVD/VHS set up). Out the main doors on this level is a wraparound porch with lake views, sitting, dining and BBQ areas. It is completely gated to keep pets and children contained and safe. The ground floor features a four piece bath, one private queen bedroom (w/walkout to the lower deck), media room with 50" tv, netflix, prime, Disney, 100s of DVDs, gas FP with a pull out couch/double bed. Out the ground floor entrance is another deck, gaming area, beverage fridge and access to the waterfront. The waterfront boasts a fixed dock, a floating dock, a swim pad, two fire pits and an array of water craft and life jackets for your safety and enjoyment. Guest access The only restricted areas are a few locked cabinets for the owners personal belongings and the utility room which contains the water, electrical and heating systems. This room will be locked. Other things to note IMPORTANT: Do not make a booking request unless you: A - Are a five star airbnb verified guest with government photo ID. B - Are a courteous responsible and mature group. Ross Lake is a very quiet motor free lake with only 24 cottages. We hope the loudest noise you hear during your stay is the sound of the loon. In consideration of our 23 neighbours, we respectfully ask party groups to seek other accomodations. C - Expect to follow the house rules and leave the cabin is in a reasonably clean and orderly (as found) condition. INPORTANT NOTE: During the peak rental season of July and August, the cabin is available only for weekly rentals will bookings from Sunday to Sunday (i.e. arrive Sunday at 4pm and check out at 11am the following Sunday).
