La Rocher Eco Retreat offers spectacular, unhindered views from each of its four luxurious open plan contemporary studio villas. Enjoy vistas of the world heritage Mount Warning and the distant Border Ranges, along with the serenity, peace and tranquillity that allows you to truly unwind and nourish your soul. Situated in the soft foothills of the World Heritage Mount Warning caldera, right in the heart of the Tweed Shire and close to the historical village of Uki. The space Luxurious open plan contemporary studio villas with hotel quality king sized beds, an open plan lounge area and fully equipped kitchen. Cooking facilities include a large gas hob, a convection microwave and a full sized fridge freezer to stock up your fresh food and drinks. Indulge in your own barista-quality coffee or select specialty teas. Each villa is provided with a generous breakfast that caters to specific requests and dietary requirements. Relax in a sumptuous freestanding bath with endless views over rolling hills and the distant ranges or refresh under a waterfall shower. For chilly winter nights a double sided log fireplace will keep you toasty inside the villa or, if you prefer, relax outside on the deck in the crisp mountain air. The living area opens up to a large covered deck with BBQ, dining table, day bed and sun loungers. Sundowners never looked this good! Guest access The entire property is available for your use at all times with forest walks right on your doorstep. The swimming pool and hot tub are available to all guests and form part of the shared facilities. As we only have 4 villas, it is only. on the rare occasion that all guest are using these facilities. We request advance notice of a request for use of the hot tub as we rely on solar to power the heat pimp and this takes 4-5 hours to heat up, depending on the season.
