Nestled in a peaceful setting with a partially fenced yard for privacy, this space offers the perfect mix of seclusion, comfort, and style. Whether you're here for an outdoor adventure or a quiet getaway, our home has everything you need to relax and unwind. The space The apartment getaway is a separate living space attached to the back of the main house with its own entrance. This apartment has been hand built by the owner with many unique, artistically crafted touches. It includes a full bath with shower, a basically equipped kitchen with dining area and an upstairs bedroom and living space. The upstairs has a queen size bed, desk and lounge chair with ottoman for watching the 32” TV. Internet, Smart TV (Netflix, Hulu, Prime apps), Antenna (no cable) provided. *** Please make note and consider before making a reservation. The stairs to the second floor are very steep and shallow and may be difficult for some to navigate. If climbing stairs is a challenge or you feel uncertain on stairs at night, this may not be the place for you. We want to welcome as many people as possible but also want you to feel sure-footed and safe!*** There is also an outdoor area, behind the house, exclusively for guest use with a fire pit, firewood, string lights and a hammock. For those looking for a quiet place, please be aware that along with the sounds of birds, frogs and crickets you may hear the hum of highway 61 and the occasional train whistle in the distance. This property is the home of a skilled woodworker who has built much of what you see on the site. We have another AirBnB rental on the same property. It is located to the right of the driveway and is fenced off to provide privacy so our separate guests can enjoy their space with minimal intrusions.
