Our beautiful home located in the redwood forest of Lagunitas, California is perfect for your relaxing getaway. The home is surrounded by nature, situated at the edge of Taylor State Park. A short drive takes one to Pt. Reyes and its pristine beaches and hikes. San Francisco and Sonoma wine country are a short drive away. Our home is in a rural, quiet area and is perfect for those that want a tranquil vacation or for those who seek local adventures. After a long day out enjoy our spa and sauna. The space Though you may think you're far away from society local shops, restaurants and amenities are very close by. The property is situated on two acres of land. It has walking pathways through the forest, and a natural spring water stream which you can sit next to and relax. The home is very large and has an artistic atmosphere inside with many different colors, paintings and eclectic touches. There is a library of books to read from as well. Guest access Guests have access to the entire home including our jacuzzi and sauna spa area. Every deck at the house is for your use! If the bbq is out of gas we always have a spare for you available. And of course we have a full laundry suite available for your use at no additional charge. There are many redwood paths to explore right on the property with many places that have benches and seats to strike up a conversation with your friends or family. Or simply enjoy your own time with a good book or simply listen to the birds and wildlife. Other things to note If you intend to read one of the books in our library please feel free to read them but we kindly ask you not to take them with you when you check out. Heating, Laundry and other amenity instructions will be provided to you before and during your stay. You will have a home manual to make staying at the home easy. Toward the backside of our home, located just shortly up the hillside, are two completely separate cabins that have two long term, individual tenants. They are super kind, friendly and keep to themselves during your stay. However, if you have a question you can always ask them for advice which can come in handy sometimes. Most of all they are quiet and make sure you have the privacy you require. The laundry room (utility room) is located beneath the house and is shared by you and the two tenants that live in the back cabins. This area has its own private entrance accessed from outside the house. This access point does not lead anywhere into your house. Your stay is private.
