La Motte, country house in Auvergne

Built on an old feudal mound, the house can accommodate 6 adults and 4 children. The house was completely renovated from 2007 to 2014. In 2019, a new phase of work allowed the creation of additional rooms: a bathroom for children, a large living room and a 4th bedroom with private bathroom on the ground floor. Maison France 5 devoted a short report to it on 12/06/19 The furniture, decor and dishes have been collected and bring charm and authenticity. The space 210 m2 spread over 2 levels, ground floor and 1st floor. The house has a large kitchen on the ground floor that opens onto the dining room, a living room and a bedroom with bathroom. A back kitchen and a toilet complete this level. The first floor is served by 2 bedrooms (140 cm bed), a bathroom with toilet and sink and a children's dormitory (4 80 cm beds) with its en-suite bathroom. Our house is 200 meters from a small village with small shops (grocery store, restaurant, hairdresser, bike rental). You will find food shops, a Petit Casino, a pharmacy 10 min by car (Bellenaves) and a Carrefour-Market and a gas station in the nearest small town 15 min from the house (St Eloy les Mines). The calm and tranquility of the place, far from the tumult of the big cities, will seduce you. Treat yourself to a green break in a true haven of peace and live to the rhythm of nature. Guest access The entire house is available for guest use. Appliances such as raclette, fondue, pierrade, Nespresso coffee machine (capsules not included) and filter coffee machine are available. A treehouse and many games/toys/books will entertain the children. Meals can be enjoyed outside under the acacia tree. Old forge for BBQ use available near the acacia.
