Mimi's Country Cottage

Quaint, quiet and cozy cottage set in a tranquil park like setting with all the amenities of home. Ten minutes to Shades State Park and twenty minutes to Turkey Run State Park. A great place to stay for the Covered Bridge Festival. 15 minutes to Wabash College, 25 minutes to DePauw University, 45 minutes to Purdue. We live on site and our back door is approximately 600 ft. from from the Airbnb. At this time we do not allow pets. We clean the cottage in accordance with CDC guidelines. The space The cottage is separate from the main house. You can come and go without disturbing anyone - plenty of privacy. There is an eat-in kitchen and a spacious bathroom supplied with many amenities. The furnishings are comfy and the peace and quiet is delightful. The fridge is stocked with fresh farm eggs to start your day out right, compliments of our hens (No roosters to wake you), as well as coffee, tea and all the fixings. The bedroom has a queen bed and there is a comfortable queen pull out bed in the living area. A Pack and Play is also available for the little ones. There are a variety of friendly cats who roam around and they love attention. Guest access The cottage is private and yours to enjoy. Feel free to wander around the property, pet the kittens, check out the chickens and enjoy the yard. Parking is plentiful. Other things to note Our cats and kittens are very friendly! Although they will beg, please don't allow them in the cottage or encourage them by feeding them. I assure you that they are well fed! However, please feel free to feed the chickens. They love any kind of food scraps you may have except for citris.
