Conveniently located in prime East Williamsburg between the J-M-Z-L train. 30 min to Manhattan and walkable to anywhere you want to be on this side of Brooklyn. 15-25 min walk in either direction: Williamsburg, Greenpoint, Bushwick, Bedstuy. Apt is garden facing, enjoy a quiet space with floor to ceiling window in the kitchen filling the entire space with natural sunlight. ~Kindly, please read entire description before booking~ The space Entire JR. 1 bedroom apartment. Private, clean, bright, and simple space with a Full-Size bed with Eco Friendly linen bedding, a private bathroom with sustainably conscious cotton towels and shower essentials, an equipped kitchen & dining area set up with the basics for light cooking, and a small designated WFH space with a 24” frameless monitor + HDMI cables to connect to laptop. High Speed WIFI is included. There is also a smart tv projector in the bedroom with free access to basic streaming channels (Netflix, Hulu, Spotify, YouTube, and more) This is an entire private apartment on the second floor of a small 4 unit building. The building itself was built in 1931 and shows its age with 12ft high ceilings, curved archways, old world details and… a sink that may get clogged easily & "slightly" slanted floors, one could call this charming! There will always be a maintenance person available but please keep the building age in mind and be gentle on the space. Kitchen has floor to ceiling windows overlooking the private rooftop space and small garden area with a small bbq, Table seating for two, and a turfed lounge area. The roof space is shared with 1 neighbor, however they have their own designated space to the right and do not occupy the space for this apt. In May, the mulberry tree that hangs over the rooftop will begin to bloom, providing delicious greenery view, shade, and fruit! Please please, be mindful that this is a very old building and may come with quirks, it is small but mighty and will include everything needed for a budget friendly and lovely stay in a prime Brooklyn area. All the same, this is my home and community. I want to to offer an affordable stay to visit NYC/BK while I work out of state for the time being. This is NOT a hotel, hostel, or gluttonous set-up. The daily rate simply covers the minimum expense for rent/utilities and cleaning fee included goes to maintaining a local and consistent thorough cleaning, the balance goes to supporting local artists. PLEASE NOTE: This is an old building built in 1931 and cannot be used for any parties or large groups of people. The rooftop is above a Vintage Furniture shop, surrounded on each side by a local artists, and the neighboring building who are also local artists and dear friends. While the outdoor space is truly lovely, I ask to please be mindful and respectful of this space. Loud + disruptive behavior strictly cannot be tolerated. Guest access Located on the 2nd floor with one set of stairs leading to the unit. There will be a locked set of keys in a lock box hung outside the entrance of the building. Access code to the keys will be provided once the reservation is confirmed Other things to note Strict no parties on the roof - The neighbors will report immediately and reservation will be canceled. PLEASE NOTE: The radiators are controlled by the building and turned ON in Mid-October and turned OFF in early-February. Unfortunately, I cannot control the temperature in my unit and it does get quite toasty, so the window A/C is welcome to be used anytime. There is also a small space heater and extra blankets if the unit ever gets too chilly.
